David Oliver Merritt

Infant David Oliver Merritt was born on September 10, 2020 to Shelton and Kellie Merritt of Foxworth, Mississippi and went back to heaven on September 11, 2020 after spending five special hours with his family. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Oliver and Haroldine Merritt and paternal great-grandmother, Louise Hogan; maternal great-grandparents, Kelly and Rosa Lee Stogner, maternal great-grandmother, Joan Fraizer, and maternal great-grandfather, Kenneth Amundson; and numerous unborn siblings. Left to cherish his memory are David Oliver’s parents, Shelton and Kellie Merritt; two sisters, Makenzie Merritt and Kaylee Bates; two brothers, Dakoda Merritt and Elijah Stogner; paternal grandparents, Richard and Sharon Merritt; maternal grandparents, Darrell and Roberta Stogner; paternal great-grandfather, David Sellers; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The funeral service for David Oliver will be in the chapel of Colonial Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 and friends may visit with the family from 1:00pm until service time. The service will be officiated by Reverend Max Campbell and burial will be in Victory Cemetery.
