Grace Summer Robbins

Grace Summer Robbins, age 95 passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at The Myrtles Nursing Center in Columbia, MS. Grace was born in Smackover, AK and was a longtime resident of Columbia where she worked as a clerk until retiring with Cook and Fortenberry Pharmacy. Grace was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia.

Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her husband, F.L. “Pete” Robbins; parents, Sedgie Manton and Hester Carter Manton; sisters, Jewel Martin, and Lois Love; a brother, J.C. Patterson; and nephews, Jimmy Love, and James Martin. Her memory will be forever cherished by her step-son, John Summer; nieces, Betty Shackles, and Patricia Ivy; nephews, Joe Love, Bobby Love, and Ronnie Martin; and several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia. Graveside services, officiated by Dr. Bryant Barnes, will follow at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery.
