Ms. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Patterson; a son, Justin Patterson; granddaughter, Lyla Kate Rials; and parents, Malcolm and Jensie Mullins. Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Patterson Stringer of Columbia; two sisters, Karen Mullins Johnson of Columbia, and Cathy Mullins Fortenberry of Kokomo; three grandchildren, Peyton Thomas Stringer, Charlie Prestyn Stringer, and William Payne Stringer; and stepfather, Ray E. Knight of Columbia.
Graveside services will be conducted by Colonial Funeral Home on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia with Rev. Jeron Carney officiating.
