Joe J. Wilkerson died on January 17, 2011 in New Orleans at the age of 86 years. He was a radio communications worker and served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by a daughter Sherry Ann Eicke of Metairie, La and a son Joe J. Wilkerson of Sumrall, Ms. and a grandchild.
