Nan was a bookkeeper by profession and worked at several businesses, including the Kemp Company where she retired.
Nan loved to travel to different places and found joy in “antiquing”. She enjoyed large family gatherings, always excited to see her kin and keeping in close touch with her extended family. Nan loved her family immensely and they were her life.
Nan was predeceased by her husband, Bennie Hugh Jarrell; her sons, Phillip Wayne Jarrell and Kenneth Wade Jarrell; her father, Percy Packwood; her mother, Daisy Rowley Packwood; her sister, Evelyn Packwood Branch; and her nephew, Sonny Branch. She is survived by her grandchildren, Kevin, Ashley, Emily, and Kurt, as well as her nephew, David Branch (Beverly); and a host of extended family members.
With heartfelt gratitude, we would like to thank Nan’s caregivers; Betty, Mattie, and Shirley for the love and care given to our precious grandmother.
Visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on January 13, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service, officiated by Dr. Reverend Jerry Watts, will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Kokomo Community Cemetery assisted by David Branch, Whitney Branch, Cole Branch, Baxter Rowley, Jim Bloyd, and Jim Cazalot serving as pallbearers.
