Patsy Moree, of Columbia, Mississippi, passed from this life into God’s presence of Friday, September 2, 2022 at the age of 73. She was born in Sandy Hook, Mississippi to Hardy and Maggie Frazier and has remained a lifelong resident of Marion County. Patsy deeply loved her family and cherished every moment with her family. She enjoyed collecting unique rocks, watching butterflies, and working jigsaw puzzles. Patsy was soft spoken and will be remembered for being sweet, loving, and kind hearted.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Stringer; four brothers, Forrest Frazier, Charles “Dude” Frazier, Harold Frazier, and Vernon Frazier; and her husband, Clifton Moree. Patsy is survived by two daughters, Margaret Curtis (Steve) and Michelle Franklin (Mike); a sister, Pearl Mullins; five grandchildren, Chris Curtis (Traci), Crystal Bond (Corey), Dylan Coker (Hailey), Shane Coker, and Cameron Coker; six great-grandchildren, Corey Paul Bond, Bailey Bond, Rowan Bond, Chase Curtis, Briggs Curtis, and Skylynn Coker; and numerous nieces and nephew.
There will be a visitation for Patsy at Colonial Funeral Home on Monday, September 5, 2022 from 10:30am until 12:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Reverend Jeff Morris, will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00pm. Patsy will be laid to rest in Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Chris Curtis, Corey Bond, Corey Paul Bond, Dylan Coker, Shane Coker, and Cameron Coker assisting as pallbearers.
