Sharon Champagne

Sharon Champagne, age 61 passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her residence in Columbia, MS. She worked for 24 years as a cook with various restaurants including Jubilee Buffet at the Silver Slipper Casino in Bay St. Louis, MS and later became a homemaker.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Champagne and JoEllen Roson Champagne; brother, Wayne Champagne; and a granddaughter, Arizona Champagne. Survivors include her fiancé, Rick Pujol of Pass Christian, MS; three daughters, Shannon Champagne of Waveland, MS, Regina Thompson (Joey) of Bay St. Louis, and Patricia Netto of Hattiesburg, MS; four sons, Daniel Netto (Katie), Eric Netto, and Josh Netto (Allison), all of Tylertown, MS, and Ricky Pujol, Jr. of Pass Christian; a sister, Karen Shepherd (Larry) of Columbia, MS; a brother, Jerry Champagne of Kiln, MS; eleven grandchildren; a great-grandson, Josiah Floyd; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Champagne Cemetery in Tylertown.
