COLUMBIA, SC – Benjamin Acue Walker Joye, 61, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00 at Florence County Memorial Gardens, 3320 S. Cashua Drive, Florence, SC 29501. He was the only child of the late Haskell Shuler Joye and Helen Finklea Joye. He was born in Florence and attended the Florence Public Schools. He graduated from West Florence High School in 1971 and the College of Charleston in 1975. He worked for the Florence County Treasurer’s Office and the Office of the State Auditor. He was a retired CPA. He is survived by his aunt, Mabel Joye Taylor Ward and several cousins. He was predeceased by his uncle, Acue Stoll Joye and aunt Helen Joye Jordan.
