Benjamin Martinez

Benjamin Martinez was born February 15,1947 and passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026 with his family by his side. He is Survived by: His son Paul Martinez (Angela Martinez), Daughter Donna Leon (David Leon), and 6 Grandchildren. His siblings: Robert M Martinez, Betty Lou Fuentes, Linda Sagala, and Jerry Martinez. Preceded in death by his wife Cecilia A Martinez, His Father Max Martinez, Mother Juanita O Martinez, Stepmother Lillie Martinez, Siblings(deceased): Leroy Martinez, John E Martinez and Theresa M. Hughes.

Ben lived most of his childhood growing up in Rocky Ford Colorado with his parents and siblings. Ben met his beautiful wife Cecilia and was married shortly thereafter. Ben joined the Army in 1966-1968 and earned a Bronze Star and was honorably discharged. Ben loved to go to the Casino, watch football and spend time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 10, 2026 at New Hope Ministries, 90 Knox Ct, Denver, CO 80219. Interment to follow the service in Fort Logan National Cemetery at 2:30 pm. A reception will be held at Westside Church, 3440 W Louisiana Ave, Denver, CO 80219.
