Beverly Stillings

COLUMBIA –A Memorial Service for Beverly Margaret Jungnitsch Stillings, 87, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2011, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel. Memorials may be made to Hannah House, 1726 Sumter Street, Columbia, SC 29201.

Mrs. Stillings was born October 14, 1923, in Page, ND and passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011. She was a daughter of the late Henry William Jungnitsch and Clara Henderson Jungnitsch. Mrs. Stillings was a Legal Administrative Assistant. She was in the W.A.V.E.S. (US Navy) World War II, court reporter, Washington DC. Mrs. Stillings worked with the American Fish and Wildlife Service and Remington-Rand. Her hobbies included birdwatching, competitive ballroom dancing, painting, knitting and gardening.

Mrs. Stillings is survived by her children, Sheila Brown, son-in-law, Robert M. Brown, III and David Stillings; sisters, Jackie Noack, Karen Carlson, Val Moy and several nieces, nephews; grandchildren, Richard Stillings, Miranda Stillings, Spencer Brown, Walker Brown and Nathan Brown. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, K. Mark Jungnitsch.
