PELION – A memorial service for Bobby Jane Cook, 57, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Pelion Church of the Nazarene.
Mrs. Cook was born June 13, 1956 in Louisiana and passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013. She was a daughter of Robert L. Singleton, Sr. and the late Roberta “Jackie” Hamrick Singleton.
Surviving are her husband, Gerald A. Cook of Pelion; father, Robert Singleton, Sr. of St. Cloud, FL; son, Anthony Terry (Amy) of Pelion; daughter, Mina Terry of Pelion; step son, Allan Cook (Julie) of Gaston; step daughter, Cathy Dixon (Johnnie) of Gaston; sister, Lydia Zeagler of Lexington; brother, Robert Singleton, Jr. (Michelle) of Lexington and her seven grandchildren, Paige, Matthew, Dillon, Jacob, Chad, Clay and Lizzie. Mrs. Cook was predeceased by her mother, Jackie Singleton and sister, Terry Lee Coburn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pray-4-Clay Foundation, Congaree State Bank, 2023 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia, SC 29160. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
