WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Charles Edward Davis, Sr., 81, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church or a local charity of one’s choice. Everyone attending are encouraged to wear their favorite game day attire.
Mr. Davis was born June 3, 1933 in Olympia to the late Otis Davis and Gladys Pearl Cox Davis and passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014. Mr. Davis was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. He was an Air Force Veteran and worked many years as a truck driver. He was an Avid GameCock fan and enjoyed sports.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Carter Davis; son, Chuck Davis, Jr. (Miriam) of West Columbia; daughter, Beth Warren (Randy) of West Columbia; grandchildren, Nicole Warren, Matthew Warren (Tracie), Joshua and Alex Davis.
