COLUMBIA – A memorial service for Daniel Lee Fockler, 53, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. A marker will be placed at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in Canton, OH.
Dan was born August 18, 1960 in Canton, OH and passed away in his home on Thursday, June 5, 2014. He was a son of Arthur G. (Nita) Fockler and Margaret A. Reel, who preceded him in death. Dan was an amazingly accomplished home remodeler who took great pride in his work. He had a remarkable sense of humor that could brighten anyone’s day and was a cherished friend to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his daughters, Shadow L. (Alexander) Gulledge and Cristina M. Webb; stepson, Joseph A. (Katherine) Boyes, Jr.; sisters, Linda A. Welsch, Mindy M. (Dennis) Samblanet and Cathy C. (James) Siegmund; brother, David W. Fockler and the love of his life, Sheila R. Gross.
