David "Dave" Craig Dear

Celebration of Life Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Dunbar Funeral Home- Northeast Chapel. In honor of Dave, friends and family are encouraged to wear your favorite band's t-shirt. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service. A Livestream of the services will begin at 1:45 pm.

Dave was born June 3, 1960 in Appleton, WI to George and Jane Dear. Music was a lifelong passion of Dave’s, he added his talents as a guitarist and vocalist in multiple bands throughout his life. To support his music habit, Dave was a Senior Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst for TD Bank.

Dave loved his cats; Willie and Ziggy. He always enjoyed all things Disney with the love of his life, Mary Jo.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife of 22 years, Mary Jo Dear and his sister, Terrie Dear. Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Kristina N. Dear; a grandson, John Riley; “other daughter”, Kathleen Flynn; a brother, Bruce Dear (Barbara); nieces, nephews and many friends that are like family.

Memorial contributions made in Dave’s honor may be made to diabetes research or an animal shelter of your choosing.
