A memorial service for Deborah Ann White, 48, of Batesburg, will be held 6 o’clock, Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia, with Pastor Tom Mims officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Born on October 31, 1962 in Columbia, SC, Ms. White was a daughter to Joyce Mills Storey and the late Donald Alexander Storey. She was a member of Praise Church of Leesville. A first soprano, Ms. White attended North Greenville College and sang with Joyful Sound.
Survivors include her sons, Joshua White of Columbia, and Josiah White of Trinity, FL; her daughter, Abigail White; and one brother, Andy Storey, both of Gray Court, SC; an aunt, Patricia Beasley of Monetta, SC; and grandfather, Lawrence Mills of Senoia, GA.
