CHAPIN – Funeral services for Donald William Martin, 58, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday October 18, 2012 at St. Michael’s Lutheran church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Dwight Wessinger. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel. Mr. Martin was born August 15, 1954 in Lockhaven, PA and passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012. He was the son of the late Jimmy Martin and Dorothy Crawford. Mr. Martin was a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church where he was a member of the Lutheran Men in Mission. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Martin was employed at International Paper Company and formerly employed with the City of Columbia Police Department and Carolina Eastman Kodak.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Martin; daughter, Christa L. Martin; sons, Aaron E. Martin and Jason M. Martin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ted and Linda Frick; brother-in-law, Ted Frick; sister-in-law, Laura Frick; nephews, Victor and Grant Frick and niece, Marla Frick.
