Douglas Shales

Irmo – Douglas Alan Shales, 65 of Irmo, SC. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 11, 2013. Doug was born in Pleasantville, NJ. to Kenneth and Easter Shales. It was in Pleasantville where Douglas, met and married his wife, Ruth of 43 years.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Shales is survived by his children, Priscilla (Travis) Landry, John (Adrienne) Shale, Stephen (Erinn) Shales and Sarah Shales; 13 grandchildren, Ian Shales, Ellie Shales, Maran Shales, Maria Shales, Salem Shales, Abigail Shales, Emily Landry, Luke Shales, Rachel Shales, Racquel Shales, Madeline Shales, Dallas Shales and Liam Landry; a brother and sister Marvin (Jerri) Shales and Caryl (Jim) Dufour.

A memorial celebration will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Crossroads Community Outreach Church with the family receiving friends after the service until 2:00 p.m.
