James Barry Baker, 77, was born September 10, 1942 in Camden, SC and passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020. He was a son of the late Cornelia Collins and Hasford Roger Baker.
Mr. Baker spent most of his adult life in Charleston, South Carolina, where he ran an insurance agency and played at the Sheraton Hotel in his band, “Salt and Pepper”.
Mr. Baker is survived by his sister, Patricia Lee; special friend and neighbor, Eric Cowan, and ex-wives, Nancy Crogen and Barbara Baker. He was predeceased by his brother, Julian Baker; daughter, Debra Irene Baker and stepson, Kyle Bell.
