Jay S. Maer, 70, currently of Blythewood South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones by his side on July 1, 2025. Jay was born 2/9/1955 in Brooklyn NY to the late Carol and Stanley Maer. Jay was a kind and loving soul who spent much of his life in the field of accounting. He enjoyed fishing, westerns, and something good to eat.
Jay is survived by his loving wife Diane, his adoring sister Irene Stern (Jeffrey) of South Carolina, his children Mike Maer (Regina) of Rhode Island, Allison Maer of New York, Kristan Pomfret (Jarrid) of Rhode Island, Brandon Downes of Rhode Island and his three grandchildren Ava, Sophie and Aubrie, all of Rhode Island.
