Jean V McClellan

COLUMBIA - Jean Elizabeth Vaughn McClellan passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Riverland Hills Baptist Church, 201 Lake Murray Blvd. in Irmo. Mrs. McClellan was born February 14, 1939, in Brevard, NC. She was the daughter of Ollie Vaughn Rath and the late Lee Wofford Vaughn. Mrs. McClellan attended Walterboro High School, SC and was a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. Mrs. McClellan was the Chief Financial Officer for Wilbur Smith and Associates.

Mrs. McClellan is survived by her children, Karen Gresham (Charles), Beth Mehaffey (Ernie), Mandy Martin (Randy), James O. McClellan IV (Lisa); sister, Ann Vaughn Hooker and grandchildren, Laura Stubbs, John and Andrew Gresham, Aaron, Barrett and Connor Mehaffey, Ian McClellan and three great-grandchildren, Callie, Emma and Michael. Mrs. McClellan was predeceased by her sisters, Carletta Farmer Keith and Judy Vaughn Eleazer and by her grandson, Jay Allan Gresham.
