John W Davis Jr.

COLUMBIA – Funeral services for John William Davis, Jr., 91, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel with interment in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Davis was born October 9, 1921 in Bulloch County, GA and passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013. He was a son of the late John W. Davis, Sr. and Annie Rivers Davis. He was a member of Ashland United Methodist Church.

Mr. Davis is survived by his sons, Billy Davis (Kathy) and Charles Davis; grandsons, Todd Davis and Scott Davis; great-grandchildren, Trent Davis, Nick Davis, Kimberly Davis and Kristy Bowman; great-great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Hunter and Jordan; brother, James E. Davis. Mr. Davis was predeceased by his wife, Grace Davis and sister, Marjorie Davis. Special thanks to caregiver Polly Roberson.
