LEESVILLE - Funeral services for Julia W. Sharpe, 74, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Elmwood Mausoleum Chapel with interment in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel
Julia was born November 11, 1940 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Henry J. Wheeler and Annie M. Sharpe Wheeler. Julia enjoyed a 41 year career serving as a Registered Nurse at the State Hospital and Richland Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, Gilbert Aumon; daughters, Tina Marie Torres (Luis) and Linda Faye Sharpe; son, Charles Anthony Sharpe; grandchildren, Ashley Marie Torres, Luis Anthony “Tony” Torres; great-grandchildren, Anthony Torres, Morgan Grace; three sisters and one brother. Julia was predeceased by her son, H. B. “Rusty” Sharpe.
Elmwood Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family with the arrangements.
