Linda S Canady

Lexington - Linda Sarvis Canady died, Friday, April 27, 2012. Mrs. Canady was born in Loris, SC and resided in Columbia, SC. She was the daughter of Lucille Dutton Sarvis and Hyman M. Sarvis.

Mrs. Canady is survived by her husband, Shelton Ray Canady, Sr.; sons, Shelton Ray Canady, Jr., William Joseph Canady, and Robert Jason Canady; daughter in laws, Shannon Canady and Marca Canady; five grandchildren, Kalie, Karson, Ady, Cooper, and Ace; brother, William James Sarvis; sisters, Emma Jean Sarvis Watts and Wanda Sarvis Prince; sister in laws, Rebecca G. Sarvis, Faye Canady, and Judy Canady; brother in laws, Dan Prince and Lynn Canady and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Gwendolyn Sarvis Ulmer and brother, Robert Hyman Sarvis; sister in law, Doris Gore Sarvis and brother in law, Kenneth S. Watts.

Mrs. Canady was a member of Ashland United Methodist Church. She worked at Spring Valley High School for over 20 years.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Caughman Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel. The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Ashland United Methodist Church with interment at Bush River Memorial Gardens.
