A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 11:00 am at Three Rivers Baptist Church, Irmo. Dunbar Funeral Home Northeast Chapel is assisting the family. Burial will follow the service at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens.
Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Lourie and Annie Croft McKeown.
She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Three Rivers Baptist Church. Linda retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield as a claims associate.
She is survived by her daughters; Shannon Young Parker and husband Shane of Raleigh, NC, Wendy Young Houseright and husband Danny of Morristown, TN; grandchildren; Landry, Lindsay and Lexie Parker, Hunter and Austin Carmical and Dillon Houseright and former spouse, David R. Young.
