Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Noble McKinstry was born September 14, 1947, in Columbia, South Carolina. She is the daughter of the Late Mr. Alonzo Hudson Noble and Mrs. Elizabeth Watson Noble of Columbia, South Carolina. Mary’s soul ascended this earth to be with the Lord on October 15, 2021.
Mary was like a shining star, she sparkled everywhere she went and was loved in every circle she traveled. She loved her family, enjoyed spending time with her friends, and trusted the Lord, who as she would say, “has been good to me”. She was the life of any party and was truly a giver. Mary “Memaw” as she was known by many was dependable, loved children, and would do anything she could for you. She would often say if she could help someone along the way then her living would not be in vain.
Mary “Memaw” McKinstry, leaves to cherish her memory her husband Preston McKinstry, her three daughters, Angelette Michele Spry (Forrest) Roberts of Atlanta, GA, Torie Wynette Spry (Charlie) McLaughlin of Chatham, LA, Jeneika McKinstry of Charlotte, NC, and one son Jevre (Nicole) McKinstry of Charleston, SC, eight grandchildren Trevon Gregory Ricks, David (Candace) McLaughlin, Aaron McLaughlin, Gabrielle McLaughlin (Chris) Perry, Jevre McKinstry, Asa McKinstry, Hanna McKinstry, and Madison Sterbini; six great grandchildren, Jeremih Trevon Ricks, David J. McLaughlin II, Leon Perry, Amayah McLaughlin, Adam Perry, and Alana McLaughlin; five brothers, Albert, Charles (Kathryn), Montieth, Wallace, and Reginald of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Alonzena N. Garrett, Annie Noble-Heyward of Columbia, SC; one Aunt, Ms. Jennette Watson of Clemson, SC; and many loving and devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Noble and her sister, Gwendolyn Noble.
Although Mary “Memaw” McKinstry is no longer with us physically, she can never be forgotten in any of our hearts.
