Maude Easterling

WINDERMERE, FL – Maude Beatrice Price Easterling, 98, formerly of Blythewood, SC and widow of the late Carson Leslie Easterling died Thursday, June 6, 2013. She was a daughter of the late Lloyd Glen Price and Dovie Ophilia Rose Price.

Mrs. Easterling was a member of the Union United Methodist Church, Irmo and served on the Alter Guild, the Social Service Committee, she was a member of the Pauline Younginer Sunday School Class and the Mattie Mathias Circle. She was a member of the New Generation Group at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Columbia, SC. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Winter Garden, FL. She retired from Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel with interment to follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky and Randy Easterling, Karl Walters, Kevin Compher, John Owens and (alt) Brandon Easterling. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo Chapel.

Mrs. Easterling is survived by her son, Carson R. Easterling; grandchildren, Cindy Compher, Cathy Walters, Ricky Easterling, Randy Easterling, Chris Owens, Katie Owens and John Owens, 14 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandson. She was predeceased by her sisters, Pearl, Cora Lee, Edith, Ethel, Inez, Portia, Elgie and Margarette.
