

Terrance A. Walker was born the youngest of two children to Frank B. and LeMoine D. Walker in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. On October 10, 2025, God told this soldier it’s time for a new duty station. A memorial service will be held on 21 October 2025 at 2:00 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel.
Terrance grew up as a military child. He spent his formative years with his family at Cannon AFB in Clovis New Mexico. There he was very active, playing all sports from Little League Baseball to High School Football with the Clovis Wildcats. Terrance was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles and Clemson fan.
After the retirement of his parents, Terrance decided to keep the military legacy going and enlisted in the United States Army in June of 2006. During his 16 years service in the Army, he served in the Infantry as a Patriot Missile Operator and retrained as a Information Technology Specialist. He traveled the world from Oklahoma to Italy. He made a few stops in Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Germany, culminating with his separation at Fort Campbell Army Base in Tennessee in 2022. Terrance’s service medals are as follows: Army Medal (6 awards), Joint Service Achievement Medal (2 awards), Army Achievement Medal (3 awards), Army Good Conduct Medal (5 awards), National Defense Service Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
Terrance was preceded in death by his father, Frank B. Walker; a nephew, Joshual M. Lee; grandparents and aunts. He leaves the following to rejoice in his memory besides his mother; sister, Monique (Jerold) Lee of Columbia; nephew, Jordan I. Lee; niece, Morgan S. Lee of Columbia; grandmothers, Eva M. Cobb of Washington DC and Everlena Samuels of Timmonsville; aunt, Ladonna (Kevin) Winestock of Washington DC; uncles, Bernard Samuels (Tarji) of Detroit MI and Michael Brown of Philadelphia PA; best friend, Simon Salguero of Clovis New Mexico; brothers and sisters of the United States Army, Joseph Dirksz, Arielle Johnson, Ray, Ashley, Tiffany; along with a host of grand-aunts, grand-uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
