Theresa Fullbright Clark

Theresa Fullbright Clark, 90, of Columbia SC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19th, 2025. Born on April 9th, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William J. Fullbright and Hannah Hammond Fullbright. She retired from Bellsouth after many years of loyal service. Theresa lived a vibrant life filled with love, creativity, and dedication to her family.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Theresa cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and warm heart made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege to know her. She was a passionate gardener, always finding joy in new life. She had a special love for cooking and shared that love with her family, who will treasure her recipes and lessons always. Theresa also loved to create – She sewed, painted, tiled, and carved, making beautiful keepsakes that will be passed down for generations.

Theresa is survived by her son, Jonathan B. Clark of Columbia SC, daughters Crystal Clark, of Chapin SC, Karen B. Koon of Prosperity SC, granddaughters Brenna Spires of Chapin SC, Leigha Marion of Ridgeland SC, Alyson Craig of Knoxville TN, grandson David Abernathy of Lexington SC, great granddaughters Hannah Craig of Knoxville TN, Peyton Spires of Chapin SC, Addilyn Marion of Ridgeland SC, and great grandsons Griffin Spires of Chapin SC and Benjamin and Henry Craig of Knoxville TN.

Theresa’s life will be celebrated at services to be held at Elmwood Funeral Home, located at 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201, on Sunday, January 26th, 2025 at 11:00 am. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
