CHAPIN - Funeral services for Timothy Charles Jones, 53, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Chapin United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends are welcome to visit at the family home at 1641 Dreher Island Road, Chapin, South Carolina 29036 on Monday, July 25, 2011 and Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605-4277 or Tuesday Night Bass Club, c/o Buddy’s Marina, 199 West Hwy 378, Lexington, South Carolina 29072.

Timothy was born January 23, 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina and passed away Friday, July 22, 2011. He was a son of Charles Marvel Jones, Jr. and the late Mary Etta Baxley Jones. Timothy loved boating and fishing on Lake Murray and he also loved Racing. Mr. Jones was a member of Chapin United Methodist Church.

Mr. Jones is survived by a son, Matthew Charles (Candy) Jones of Little Mountain; daughter, Daphne Denise Smith; son, Sean Jones; brother, Stephen Tracy (Jonnie) Jones of Florida; sister, Pamela Gaskins of Orangeburg; brother, Allan Jones of Florida; and one grandchild, Zakkary Charles Jones; and devoted friend, Lisa Pritchard. Mr. Jones was predeceased by his mother.
