A funeral service for Vivian N. Turner, 75 will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Turner died Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Born in Marietta, Georgia, she was a daughter and one of thirteen children of the late Charles Wesley Nichols and Lorena Holmes Nichols. She worked in retail management at Target for 25 years. Vivian loved her family, dancing, and DIY projects. She never met a stranger and will be deeply missed.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, John Turner; daughters, Valerie Carranza, Veronica Carranza, and Alisa Mills (David); four grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Bo Nichols, Butch Nichols, David Nichols, Robert Nichols, and Susie O’Shields.
