COLUMBIA - William “Bill” Anthony Todd, 54, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at his home. Bill was born January 10, 1964 to George (Margaret) Todd and Linda Bennett in Columbia, South Carolina. He was a talented musician, singer and song writer. Bill enjoyed cooking and loved spending time on the river. He was known for his witty sense of humor and had a contagious smile, he will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Charles Meng, Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Morgan (Carl) Bennett; grandchildren, Blakelyn and Conner Bennett; father, George Todd and mother, Linda Bennett; grandmother, Inez Meng; brothers, Tim (Elizabeth) Todd, Gene Todd, and Bob (Kelly) Bennett.
A memorial service for Bill will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Harvest Church, 4865 Sunset Blvd Lexington, SC. The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to Harvest Church for Missions in Bill’s name, to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Elmwood Funeral Home and Cremation Service are assisting the family with arrangements.
