Anna Hudson, 58, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Emory University Hospital. The family would like to welcome loved ones and friends for a memorial visitation starting at 11 am followed by a Memorial Service at 1 PM officiated by Rev. Jeremy Alexander at Howard United Methodist Church, Howard, Georgia, for Monday, April 30, 2018.
Anna Kurtz Hudson was born September 21, 1959 in Houma, Louisiana, to Marian Anna Picou and the late Harold Paul Kurtz. She would spend her life full of love and laughter, dedication and hard work, and always giving more to others than she allowed for herself. Whatever Anna sought to do, she did so by putting all of herself into it. For instance, she worked as a Sterilization Processor for St. Francis Hospital for 7 years, spent over 24 years of her life loyally serving the Lord with Howard United Methodist Church, and before that, she married her best friend, Michael R. Hudson, in June of 1990 dedicating almost 28 years of herself to Mike and their family.
Alongside her father, Anna is preceded in death by: two brothers, Kenrick and Kerwin Kurtz; a brother-in-law, Clyde Hall; and a sister-in-law, April Dervan.
She is survived by: her loving husband, Mike Hudson; two daughters, Sarah and Michelle Hudson; brother Knute Kurtz; sisters, Kimmie Hall and Agnes Bearden; brothers-in-law, Robert Hudson and David Dervan; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her loving nature and laugh terribly.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Anna Hudson for her medical expenses at the bank of Wells Fargo under the account name of Lisa Foxworth.
