Anna Patricia Jernigan

Pat was born June 18, 1938, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Mitchell and Eula Born Robertson into a family with 10 brothers and 1 sister. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leroy "Roy" Jernigan after almost 47 loving years.

She was an active and devoted member of Midway United Methodist Church. Pat spent most of her time tirelessly serving the Lord by volunteering with numerous activities at Midway. She was the church secretary for years, sang in the choir, volunteered at Mothers Morning Out, and taught Sunday School just to name a few. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose lasting impression touched countless lives through many years of service with Girl Scouts of America.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm, Monday, February 13, 2017, in the Wynnton Room of Striffler-Hamby.

Funeral services to celebrate her life are at 2 pm, on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, with Reverend Dennis Stalvey officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters: Terri (Bobby) Watson, Phyllis (Charlie) Clark, and Laura (Dan) Belda; grandchildren: Benjamin (Alana) Watson, Adam (Ashley) Watson, Brantley Clark, Sarah (Luke) Jackson, Kaliegh Belda (Taylor Averdick), Savana (Shannon) Lee, and Mark Belda; great-grandchildren: Gabriel Watson, Hunter Watson, AnnaLee Watson, Xander Lee, Cameron Lee, Carson Lee; two sisters-in-law: Sharon Robertson and Bonnie Jernigan; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Pat requested donations be made to her beloved church, Midway United Methodist.
