Audrey A. Brady

Memories flood our minds and sadness grips our hearts as we mourn the loss of our Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Aunt and Friend, Audrey Ann Brady. She was born September 3, 1933 and went to be with her Lord and Savior April 20, 2023. A visitation for the family and friends of Audrey will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907, followed by a Celebration of Audrey's Life at 3:00 PM.

Her life was a selfless one as for many years she devoted her time, love and devotion to over 300 foster children that she adored. She loved her family and spending time with each one of them.

Audrey was predeceased by: her husband, Curtis Brady (Bill), her son, Derrick Spencer; parents, Benjamin Harrison Williams and Katie Belle Goodwin; Brothers: Marion Williams, Bud Williams, Junior Williams, and Pat Williams; Sisters: Eleanor Ruth Comer and Ruby Williams.

Survivors include four children: Rita Renfroe, Mark Spencer (Vangel), Cristi Boyd, and Candy Spencer. Grandchildren: Todd Spencer (Amy), Joshua Spencer, Andy Spencer, Rachel Spencer, Megan Doner, Jacob Taylor (Alexa), Brianna Boyd, and Travis Boyd. Great-Grandchildren: Abby Spencer, Colby Spencer, Kamerin Spencer, Aiden Taylor, and Reagan Gilmer.

Although Mamaw has left us for now, we know we will see her again. We miss her yet we are joyful that she is with Jesus, Papaw, her parents, brothers, sisters and all of those gone before her. Mamaw, your death leaves us sad yet uplifted; downhearted yet hopeful; broken yet whole. Thank You for loving us! We truly love you!
