Barbara Ann Phillips

Graveside funeral service will be held in Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Benning, Georgia at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2014. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 Thursday evening at Striffler-Hamby in the St. Elmo room.

Barbara Ann was born on November 24, 1946 to Josephine Propps and the late Willis Aldridge. Other than her father she is also preceded in death by her husband, Edwin B. Phillips, daughter, Pamela Ragan and son, Edwin Phillips. Barbara was a great seamstress; she also loved to crochet, sew and bake for her family, and to go bowling. She was a bowler at AMF Peach Lanes for many years, teaching handicapped children to bowl. Barbara will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her mother, Josephine Propps; son, Randell (Angie) Phillips; daughter-in-law, China Phillips; sisters, Helen Marie (James) Denney, Linda (Larry) Bias; brothers, Charles Ray (Carol) Aldridge, Richard (Marilyn) Aldridge, and Jeffery (Charm) Propps; grandsons, Aaron Ragan, Robert Ragan, Joshua Phillips, Chance Phillips, Blake Phillips, Austin Phillips, Brandon Doucette, and Gage Phillips; numerous other family and friends.
