Bert T. Wilder

Bert T. Wilder, age 53, resident of Box Springs, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Funeral services are scheduled at Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, Georgia on Sunday, June 14, 2015, 3 p.m. with Reverend Lynn McManus officiating. Private interment will be in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 2-3 p.m.

Mr. Wilder, son of the late John Wiley Wilder and Ann Elizabeth Teal Wilder, was born February 6, 1962 in Butler, Georgia. He was a Quality Inspector for Pratt Whitney and had served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Wilder is survived by his wife, Dena R. Wilder of Box Springs, Georgia; two sons, Adam Wilder of Fort Lee, Virginia and Aaron Wilder of Box Springs, Georgia; three sisters, Rena (Jarrett) Spence of Jupiter, Florida, Janice (Joe) D'Andrea of Wilmington, Delaware, and Cheryl (Fred) Okamoto of Vero Beach, Florida; two brothers, Bruce (Sherryl) Wilder of Americus, Georgia and Wayne (Betty) Wilder of Birmingham, Alabama; other relatives and friends.
