A visitation for family and friends for Beth will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Evangel Church at 5350 Veterans Pkwy, Columbus, GA 31904 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Beth will be remembered for her many extraordinary qualities. She was remarkably dedicated and industrious in all her pursuits. While she did not have children of her own, she was affectionately known as "cat mama," always opening her home to stray cats, ensuring they received names and care as they found their forever home with her.
In her free time, Beth loved hunting for antiques, particularly on the lookout for Raggedy Ann collectibles. She also cherished spending time at gun shows in Columbus with her father. Moreover, Beth found comfort in snuggling up at home to watch classic western films repeatedly. One of her greatest joys was sitting at the piano, where she was delighted in creating music.
She is preceded in death by her Mother, Joy Pritchett Shierling. Her survivors include her father, Jimmy Shierling, sister, Gai Gill, brother, Jim Shierling and his wife Regina Shierling. Along with many nieces and nephews.
