Bettye Joe Robinette Bradley

A funeral service for Bettye Joe Robinette Bradley, 82, of Columbus, GA will be held Tuesday, April 13 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Striffler Hamby Mortuary Columbus. The family will receive friends on the same day from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Family member James Hand will be officiating. According to her wishes, she will be cremated and placed with family in Bigham’s Chapel, Fortson, GA at a later date and time.

Bettye Joe passed away early Saturday morning surround by loved ones. God answered her prayers to leave her earthly home and join Him in Heaven. She was born December 18, 1938 in Barbour County, Alabama to Thomas Alfie Robinette and Hazel Howard Robinette. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years David Horace Bradley, her first born Betty Lavonne, grandson Michael Vernon Rawls, brother Thomas Allen Robinette and sister, Mary Frances (Polly) Miller.

Bettye Joe is survived by a sister, Peggy Ann Baltzell (Tom), her children Shirley D. Bradley, Sharon B. Danburg, and David Wayne Bradley, grandchildren Karen H. Ivey, L. Michele Dunn, Dianne K. Boswell (Danny), James B. Blair, Kelli Jo Blair, James G. Blair, Jr., Andrew J. Bradley (Jessica), Zachary W. Bradley, Ryan H. Bradley, Jillian F. Bradley, David W. Gabe (Jeannette) and R. Matthew Gabe.

She has 15 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
