Billie Jean Cruz-Hill

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, Georgia. Family will visit with friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Burial will follow the service in Parkhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Cruz-Hill was born on June 15, 1941 in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great and great great-grandmother who loved her family. She was married to the late Arthur Hill, Jr.

She is survived by her children: Cynthia Jean (Samuel) Hoover, Vickie Louise Kern (Keith Bell), William Fred (Rhonda) Woodrum, and Angela Marie Miller Cruz; her sister, Shirley Fortney; her grandchildren: Shawn G.C. Apiag, Craig A.J. Apiag, Melissa McColley, Alice David, Dale Hoover, Amy Jones, Angela Martenson, Lorenzo Aquiningoc, Samantha Murray, Maria Kern, David Brice Turner, Charles Turner, Stuart Lee Mills-Wells, Cecelia Mills-Wells, Courtney Bishop, Chelsea Rivera, Dakota Woodrum, Christiana Harris, Leila Cruz-Lesh, Elijah Cruz-Crocker, and Isabella Cruz-Crocker; thirty great grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cruz-Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hill, Jr.; daughter, Mary Catherine Wells; granddaughter, Shannon Aquiningoc; and her siblings: James Clark Miller, Scottie Ray Miller and Jackie Miller.
