Graveside funeral services with Military Honors will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday March 28, 2011 in Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Ferry was born January 18, 1925 in Seymour, IN son of the late Roma B. Ferry and Edna B. Cox Ferry. Mr. Ferry was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam retiring as a Master Sergeant.
Survivors include his wife, Irmgard Matcheko Ferry of Phenix City, AL, his daughter, Cathy A. Berg and her husband Lowell, his sons, John H. Ferry and his wife Barbara, Steven L. Ferry and his wife Ann, a brother, George P. Ferry and his wife Barbara, his sisters, Beverly Cole and her husband Bill, Carole Williams and her husband Butch, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
