Bobette was born in Columbus, GA the daughter of, Robert T. & Mary G. Scott on June 19, 1957. She attended Columbus High School and has resided in Phenix City, Alabama for over 40 years.
Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. She was always willing to offer her help, without being asked, to friends in situations when they had no place to turn. She had a true love for animals and spent her life rescuing and finding homes for homeless cats and dogs.
Bobette had an unwavering faith in God. She believed in the power and strength of Jesus Christ and the beauty and peace that would await her after passing. We will all miss this truly wonderful lady and take comfort in knowing that she is where she wanted to be….wrapped in God’s warm and loving arms.
Bobette will be lovingly remembered by her sister and brother-in-law, Bobra Scott and Mark Ritchea; sister Robin Scott Coe of Canton, GA; nephews Frank (Bo) Bradley (Alicia), Scott Ritchea, Kennon Coe; nieces Mary Ritchea and Dolly Coe; devoted friends, Mickey Martin and David Kunze; numerous cousins and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Bob) and Mary (Mickie) Scott, and her nephew, Robert M. Ritchea, Jr. (Rob).
Memorial donations may be given to Animal Ark Rescue in consideration of Bobette’s great love for animals. Funeral service will be private.
