She was born on August 14, 1948, to the late Lennie Juanita Bryant and Charlie Herold Bryant in Byron, Georgia. Brenda attended Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia, graduating with the Class of 1966. After high school, she worked for Social Security/Civil Service for 40 years.
In 1970, Brenda married the love of her life, Wandall Lewis. They were married for 55½ years and shared a beautiful family. Wandall was a pastor, and Brenda faithfully served as a pastor’s wife in Calhoun, Georgia; Waycross, Georgia; and Columbus, Georgia, for 14 years.
Brenda was a devoted member of Solid Rock Assembly of God in Midland, Georgia, for 30 years. Her faith was unwavering, even as her health declined. Over the years, she served in countless ministries, including PrimeTimers, Wednesday Night Café, Thursday Morning Bible Study, and Six Star. One thing everyone knew about Brenda was that she absolutely loved her church family, her Thursday morning Ladies’ Bible Study, and Jesus Christ most of all.
Outside of church and her love for the Lord, Brenda cherished time with her family, especially celebrating birthdays and holidays. She enjoyed adventures and activities with family and friends, including vacations, dining out, shopping, and making lasting memories. A perfectionist at heart, she took great joy in decorating, baking, and cooking for others.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Lewis Guest; her parents, Lennie Juanita Bryant and Charlie Herold Bryant; and her brother, Larry Douglas Bryant.
