Candace was born on June 9, 1984 in Columbus, Georgia. She was known for the immense love she had for her husband and children as well as her family. Also to include her life-long friend; Ashley Shwan whom has been there through thick and thin as well as her best friends; Rusty Warner and Amanda Farley. Candace loved growing her flowers and being outdoors, whether it be fishing or at the beach. She was a waitress/bartender at Hangers in Columbus, Georgia and 219 in Fortson, Georgia.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher (Chris) Carroll; her three children, Colten G. Butler, Camden C. Butler, and Callie A. Butler; her parents, Sam and Vicki Roring; her bonus children, Alexis Johnson, Megan Carroll, and Kristen Carroll; her grandparents, Susan Roring and Deloris Strickland; and her aunts and uncles, Judy, Rachel, Pam, and Gilbert. Candace is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lewis and Martha Folds, Bill Strickland, and Mike Roring; and her aunt, Mary K. Folds.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
