Cecil Jones

Cecil moved to Columbus, Georgia after graduating high school and went on to earning his degree from Columbus College. He worked his whole life in the textile industry and after retirement enjoyed spending time on his family farm raising cattle. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Celeste Barton Jones; his sister, Lois Folmer; and his parents, William Harvey and Ophelia Free Jones. Survivors include his children, Cecil Aubrey Jones II and Audrey Celeste McVay; his grandchildren, Brandon Jones (Danielle), Bryce Holt (Taylor), Austin Jones, Peyton McVay (Brianna), Baileigh Jones, and London McVay; and his great grandchildren, Kamdon Jones, Brylee Holt, and Renly Holt; and his sister, Evelyn Caldwell (Lamar).
