Charles B. Crawford

Charles B. Crawford, age 46, resident of Bonair, GA., died on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Medical Center of Central Georgia. Memorial services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Saturday, May 26, 2012, 1 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Swanger officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. Mr. Crawford, son of William Allen Crawford and Bonnie Rae Howell Crawford, was born April 9, 1966 in Columbus. He was a 1984 graduate of Harris County High School. Mr. Crawford worked several years in construction and was Pentecostal by faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and drag racing trucks; was an avid motorcycle enthusiast; and loved Georgia football. Mr. Crawford is survived by his parents, William and Bonnie Crawford of Fortson, GA; one son, Allen Crawford of Byron, GA; two sisters, Sandra Hall and her husband Ronnie of LaGrange, GA and Janice Parmer and her husband Greg, also of LaGrange, GA; one brother, Sam Crawford and his wife Judy of Ellerslie, GA; three nieces; two nephews; other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 29427, Atlanta, GA 30359.
