Charles was born in Ollie, Iowa, on October 19th, 1929. Charles met his wife Margaretha while serving as a U.S Army soldier in Germany. They were married for 67 years and raised a son, Lawrence Pample. Charles had many duty stations throughout his 26 years of military service including Viet Nam and Iran. After retirement Charles and Margaretha made Columbus Georgia their home. Charles was known for his love of country music and playing the guitar for friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his Parents, a brother Neil Pample of Webster City IA, wife, and son. He is survived by his two sisters, Evelyn Cunningham of Kansas City, MO and Ruby Hanson of Cheriton, IA. Charles will be deeply missed by everyone who cared for him, especially Mike Veneziani and family.
Charles will be laid to rest in Parkhill Cemetery, Chapel of Pines Mausoleum, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907 on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 3:30 PM with Pastor Larry Biggers officiating.
