Bill was born on July 6, 1942 in Brown Springs, Marion County, Georgia; the son of Andrew and Elizabeth Teat Stringfellow. Bill was a member of the U. S. Army from 1960 til 1966, thereafter he became a member of the National Guard he retired in 1996. Bill then became a corrections officer for the State of Georgia, he retired on 2010. On November 12, 1965 Bill married Judy Faith Riley at Rose Hill Methodist Church, Columbus, GA. He was a member of the Fickling Masonic Lodge # 129 and a member of the Shriner’s. Bill enjoyed working in his yard, reading, puzzles, and music.
Bill is preceded in death by: by his son, Master Sgt. Patrick Wayne Stringfellow; his brother Robert Franklin Stringfellow; and his sister Vicky White.
Survivors include: his wife Judy Stringfellow; his daughter, Ursula (Thomas) Macon; grandchildren, Tiffany, Brittany, and Christopher Stringfellow, his nieces and nephews.
