Charlotte L. McRae Johnson

Charlotte Louise McRae Johnson of Columbus, Georgia passed away on February 22, 2026 at the age of 86. She was born in Picher, Oklahoma on December 20, 1939 to the late Eunice Hurt Bolin and Leroy Bolin. Charlotte was Christian by faith. She loved reading the Bible and listening to Christian Gospel music. She loved and treasured her family, they were her universe. Especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved to brag on. Charlotte loved to travel. Some of the best memories for her family are with her on the many vacations they all went on. Charlotte enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She was keen to collect new recipes and add her creative touch.

She leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her children: C Boyce McRae (Heather), Maylinda Jane Yost (Charlie), and Henry McRae (Lorraine); grandson, Joshua Jones (Allison); granddaughter, Jamie King (Nick); granddaughter, Lyndsey Jones; granddaughter, Logan McRae (Ashkan); granddaughter, Alex Bushey (Aaron); granddaughter, Carson Vazquez (Fabian); grandson, Nicholas Boyce McRae; grandson, Henry Mack McRae grandson (Ariel); step grandsons: Connor Lovett and Caden Lovett; great-grandchildren: Colton Jones, Lillie Kate Jones, Pella Rose Jones, Tucker Pate, Harper Pate, Sawyer Pate, Chandler King, Andon Jesus, West Bushey, Vivian Vazquez, Levi Vazquez, and Presley Marie McRae; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Eunice and Leroy Bolin; son, William Gene “Gene’O” McRae; brothers: Gene Bolin and Michael Bolin; sisters: Barbara Snow and Linda Harris.
