Visitation will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 5-7 pm at Striffler-Hamby on Macon Rd. A private service will be held at a later date.
Christy was born April 15, 1971 in Columbus, the daughter of James and Kathy Applewhite.
Christy was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Vernice Louise Jones and paternal grandparents, James and Mary Applewhite and an uncle, James Murray Jones.
She is survived by her parents; two sons, Justin Applewhite and Jacob Cook; a grandfather, Murray Carson "PawPaw" Jones; a brother, Keith Applewhite; a sister, Jana (Danny) Mitchell; nephews, Nick Applewhite and Robby Applewhite; an uncle, Stan (Mona) Jones, Taylor Az; an aunt, Gwen (Russ) Smith, Snowflake Az and numerous cousins.
