Cola "Peggy" Mickle

Spartanburg, SC- Cola "Peggy" McCall Mickle formally of Columbus, GA, passed away on January 4, 2013 at Park Place Assisted Living in Spartanburg, SC. She was the widow of George F. Mickle. She was also the daughter of Lon McCall and Mattie Frazier. She was a member of Cascade Hills Baptist Church in Columbus, Mrs. Mickle had worked as a seamstress and director of the Muscular Dystrophy Chapter.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cola Mickle will be on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Macon Rd. in Columbus, GA with Pastor Glenn Rusher of Boiling Springs, SC officiating, interment following in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Columbus, GA.

She leaves behind a son, George J. Mickle; a daughter & son-in-law, Malinda & Mike Keeling; two grandsons, Scott Keeling & Jeff Keeling; three granddaughters, Mitzi(Keith)Blankenship, Alicia Mickle & Kristi Salzman; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
